Protecting the Public from the Worst of the Worst
Block Parole, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation committed to keeping violent inmates who have hurt innocent victims in prison for their maximum sentences. We also promote public safety by alerting the public about violent offenders who have been released from prison. Since our work began in 2002, we have assisted in keeping more than 125 violent offenders behind bars.
Parole Cases
Our database maintains records for violent offenders who are up for parole, whose parole has been denied, and who have managed to secure their releases from prison. In addition to providing in-depth information about each case we offer a simple parole petition system that makes it possible for individuals to directly and confidentially oppose the parole of criminals in advance of their parole hearings. We also utilize tools to make it easier to track and learn more about the crimes of incarcerated inmates and freed violent offenders.
Learn MoreMissing and Murdered Children
Our organization began in 2002 with an easy to use searchable database providing information about missing children and released sex offenders. We continue our mission to aid in the recovery of missing children with the hope that all missing children will be reunited with their families. We also believe in being proactive and offer easy to use child ID kits to help provide pertinent information in the event a child goes missing in the future. In addition, we post the stories of unsolved child murder cases in an effort to get justice grieving families.
Learn MoreWhat We Do
We believe it is imperative that victims and their families, as well as the public, have input in the parole process. We closely track violent offenders upcoming parole hearings in an effort to bring awareness and prevent their releases from prison. By using the Block Parole Inc. easy to use petition, our supporters have submitted tens of thousands of confidential petitions to various state parole boards and have helped to prevent the release of the “worst of the worst” criminals. Together we can make a difference!
Our Inspirations
Our parole work was inspired by the four courageous victims listed below. Our work is their legacy.
Legislative Success
We successfully wrote and marketed Laura’s Law and Roberta’s Law in Ohio. Both laws passed The Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Senate unanimously. This legislation increased transparency in Ohio’s parole process and helped give all victims and their families input in the parole process.
